Oh, there are so many reasons.
1) People on my committee can check up on what I've been working on and give thoughts and suggestions.
2) I can easily distribute questionairres by referring people to the blog
3) I won't lose anything due to computer failures or my own incompetence :)
4) For some reason, writing this history one story at a time on a blog is so much less intimidating to me. I can handle one thing at a time. I don't have to think of it as a whole book....yet. One thing at a time.
